Tyze Workshops

Challenging times bring into focus the importance of community and the need for formal service providers to mobilize friends, family and the wider community in support of those they serve. The Community Living Campaign has served as the California project manager for a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to the PLAN Institute and Tyze to donate complete, customized Tyze sites and training for up to 13 organizations in California. Tyze, in partnership with the Community Living Campaign, has provided significant training and support for these organizations.

Tyze

TYZE = Online Social Networking with a Purpose!

Tyze is a personal, private, on-line support network whose purpose is to end isolation and loneliness for older adults, persons with disabilities and their care providers.

The Community Living Campaign (CLC) is offering regular training and support on Mondays at the Mission Housing Development Computer Center at 360 Valencia from 9:00 to 3:00 every Monday and at other times by appointment. We are also happy to come to your organization to showcase Tyze and provide hands-on assistance for those wishing to establish a Tyze personal network for themselves or someone they care about. Tyze networks are fun, easy places to plan events, tell stories, post pictures, and even upload documents to share. Go to www.tyze.com to learn about the 20 years of experience that led to this innovation.
